Dr Melinda Ricci established Success Chiropractic Clinic in 2011, seeking to fulfill her goal of providing patient-centered, effective chiropractic care to the Cockburn community.  Melinda obtained her qualifications in Chiropractic at Murdoch University and was awarded both the Chiropractor's Association Student Choice Award and the Murdoch University Riptide Award at graduation. She has additional training as a massage therapist, Sports trainer and has completed advanced modules in Dry Needling (acupuncture), rehabilitative Ultrasound and Chiropractic pediatrics. She also works as a Supervising Clinician at the Murdoch University Chiropractic Clinic and as an assistant academic for the Chiropractic program, as well as a guest lecturer for South Metropolitan Tafe. Most recently, Melinda was awarded Chiropractor of the year 2018 at the inaugural Allied Health Awards in Brisbane.

Melinda utilises a multi-modal approach in her Chiropractic treatment sessions; incorporating massage, myofacial release, trigger point therapy, dry needling and rehabilitation which, combined with Chiropractic adjustments and mobilisations address both muscular and joint pain/dysfunction. Success Chiropractic clinic also has a flexion-distraction table which can help in the treatment of disc injuries and sciatic pain.

Melinda is experienced in treating patients of all ages including infants and children and has a special interest in paediatrics and sporting injuries. Melinda can also provide services for injury claims from Motor Vehicle Accidents, Worker's Compensation and Department of Veterans Affairs

Dr Ricci is available from 8am to 7pm on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday.

Dr Christine Allegretta (nee Parkin) has been practicing at Success Chiropractic since graduating from Murdoch University in 2013. During her final year, she was selected to participate in a competitive outreach program which provided chiropractic care to remote communities in the Pilbara and also volunteered at many events including the Tom Hoad Waterpolo championships and the Blues and Roots Festival. Since graduating, Christine has completed further training in dry needling, volunteered at local community events and has also worked as an anatomy demonstrator at Murdoch University.

Christine focuses on providing evidence-based, patient-centered care and combines chiropractic adjustments with various soft tissue techniques such as massage, dry needling and trigger point therapy. She also incorporates other low-force techniques such as drop piece and activator adjusting, biomechanical blocking, flexion-distraction and kinesiotaping into her treatments.

Christine can also provide services for injury claims from Motor Vehicle Accidents, Worker's Compensation and Department of Veterans Affairs.

Dr Allegretta is available until late on Monday, Wednesday and Friday and available in the morning on Tuesday and Saturday.

Dr Janene Troy graduated with distinction from Murdoch University in 2016; a culmination of her life-long goal to practice as a Chiropractor. In addition to her clinical practice, she also lectures at Murdoch University within the School of Health Professionals and continues to work in the small business development sector. Janene is a current member of Chiropractic Australia.

Janene’s treatment approach is evidence-based and draws from a range of skill sets. These include manual chiropractic adjustments, soft tissue techniques including massage, muscle energy techniques (MET), instrument assisted soft tissue mobilisation (IASTM), dry needling and kinesiotaping.  She may also use other low-force techniques including drop piece, activator, biomechanical blocking and flexion-distraction.  Janene strongly encourages self-care strategies and provides customised exercises, stretches and home care strategies. 

Janene brings a broad range of life experiences to her practice including two-year’s service in the Australian Army reserves; living and studying in Bangkok, Thailand for 12 months; and living and working across regional WA including Derby and Northam.

Dr Troy will be available from the 3rd December on Monday afternoons, all day Wednesday, Thursday afternoons and Saturday mornings

Fran completed her Diploma of Remedial Massage Therapy at the end of 2017 at Evolve College, Perth.

Fran treats each patient in a holistic and personalised way and aims to get to the root cause of the issue as well as treating the symptoms causing the discomfort.

Every session begins with a quick assessment to ensure the client receives the best possible treatment outcome. During the treatment, Fran combines various massage techniques from light pressure working on the fascia, trigger point and deep tissue work to get deeper into the muscle fibres as well as educating clients on self management options and prescribing stretches.

Fran’s treatment methods include:

Remedial massage sessions with Francesca are eligible for private health fund rebates.

Julie Bridsen


Julie has over 20 years of massage experience. Living in the UK for a while, she started her holistic journey in 1996 with a Diploma of Aromatherapy, studying with the Tisserand Institute. Other training followed with Reiki I-III, Diploma in On-site Massage and Oncology Massage qualifications. Returning to Perth in 2003, she upgraded her qualifications with a Diploma in Remedial Therapies at the Perth Academy of Natural Therapies in 2005.

Running her own clinic in Fremantle, Julie is well respected and trusted by clients and colleagues. Her honest, genuine approach is appreciated by all whom come into contact with her. She uses a range of remedial massage techniques to alleviate pain, relieve muscular tension and improve range of motion.

Her mission is all about getting you pain free and improving your quality of life and is very experienced in the areas of back pain, sciatica, acute or chronic pain management, headaches, stress and pregnancy care. She is committed to ongoing training, regularly attending seminars and events to further her professional development.

With her constant drive to further her reputation as a professional, she is currently studying a degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture so that she may have more tools to help her clients.

Remedial massage sessions with Julie are eligible for private health fund rebates.
